DW: Tanner Hall and Hyenamon

Right, so I'll be attempting to join this group when it opens up on the 27th of this month (I'm so excited for this-- like, unreasonably so.):

Extended Digivice Info (For the hardcore people who read everything): The cell phone charm is a little duck. It was given to him by his mother when he went off to join the Astra. He doesn't particularly like ducks, but it reminds him of his mother's love so he keeps it on there at all times. Also, he uses the psp to play games that his little brother has already beaten. He doesn't usually buy new games for himself. Instead, when his brother finishes a game he sends it to Tanner and Tanner plays through it so they can talk about it. Thus, most of his games are fairly childish and hand me downs by the time he gets them.

Personality:

Friendly and laid-back, Tanner may come off as a bit naive. This is pretty far from the truth though. He's done a lot of growing up since his father's death and is actually a very responsible and thoughtful individual. He goes out of his way to keep a smile on his face and focuses on cheering up others instead of his own problems. He's a good listener and is open-minded. Tanner can always find another person's good qualities, but has a hard time seeing his own.

History:

Tanner was lucky enough to grow up in a good household. His parents were happily married, they had fairly good jobs, and they treated Tanner very well. When Tanner was six, his mother, announced that she was pregnant. Tanner wasn't sure what to feel about having a sibling at first, but he eventually got used to the idea-- excited even. The baby came before the expected due date so Tanner's mother had to be rushed to the hospital by one of her friends. While trying to get to the hospital Tanner and his dad got into a horrible car crash. His father recieved the majority of the injuries. After saying his goodbyes to Tanner he died at the crash site. (There is a bit more to it, but if you want the details you're going to have to get them from Tanner.)

When Tanner's mother, Emily, found out she went into a depression. Tanner helped out as best he could and eventually took on a lot of his father's former responsibilities. With his support and that of his parent's friends and neighbors Emily eventually made a recovery. Together, her and Tanner work hard to make sure that Tanner's brother, Martin, grows up happy and healthy though they're both still haunted by the death of Tanner's dad.

After recieving his digimon, Tanner left his family to join the Astra. It was a hard choice for him, but in the end he decided that the group could probably use all the help it could get. Both his mother and his brother supported the decision. They regularly contact Tanner via the internet.

Meeting with Hyenamon:

Hyenamon was fighting a champion level digimon (a Kuwagamon) in the digital world. Needless to say, as a rookie she didn't stand much of a chance. She was severely weakened and had turned back to Yenamon when she found a gateway into the human world. She took the chance to escape and ended up around Tanner's house. He found her and took her in. He nursed her back to health and she befriended Tanner and his family before realizing that Tanner was her destined partner. Tanner's kindness to her revealed the shard and they've been together ever since.

- Being away from his family

Extra Notes:

-Lives in the dorm seeing as his family is still in America. He sends them messages and chats with them nearly every day though.
-He works at a small cafe to earn enough income to support himself. His mother assists him by sending money when she's able to spare it.
-Him and Hyenamon go for a jog every morning.
-His dream job is to become an actor/voice actor for kids' shows.
-He believes that his father's death was his fault and this has led to some deep rooted self-hatred.

Personality:

Hyenamon is first and foremost a tomboy. She's energetic,
loves outdoor activities, and finds the more feminine pastimes appaling. Even so, she gets a little insulted when people mistake her for a boy digimon. She's proud and often words things rather bluntly, but that doesn't mean that she's unkind. She generally means well. She finds bad jokes hilarious and will laugh even if no one else finds it funny. Perhaps her most negative trait is her tendency to get jealous. On one hand, she wants Tanner to get out there and make friends, but on the other, if anyone gets too close she reacts badly, fearing that they'll replace her.

Digivolutions:

-Yenamon (In-Training)
Bubble Blow- A mostly harmless flurry of bubbles.

-Hyenamon (Rookie)
Fierce Fang- Hyenamon uses her powerful jaws to attack the enemy.

-Pachycrocutamon (Champion)
Bone Crusher- A more powerful version of Hyenamon's fierce fang attack.
Chilling Laugh- A laugh that strikes fear into the enemy. Can cause loss of focus or even stun an opponent in some cases.
Appearence: A large hyena type digimon. Think Garurumon but in hyena form.

-Gnollmon (Ultimate)
Bloody Axe- Gnollmon uses her axe to attack the opponent.
Maniac Laugh- The more powerful version of Pachycrocutamon's chilling laugh.
Appearence: Looks like gnoll. Google it. Or if you're to lazy.... she looks like a crazy werehyena with armor. Carries a large axe.

-Hyaenidaemon (Mega)
Witchflare- Hyaenidaemon uses her staff to cast a fire spell.
Call of the Night Cattle- Darkness descends on the enemy opponent. Once they start to feel unnerved, glowing eyes appear and frantic laughing is heard before black creatures descend upon the enemy.
Appearence: A dark skinned sorceress with a fur cape and staff.
